Original Recipe from The Travelnchefs:

SANGRIA
Sangria comes from the Spanish word sangre, or blood, which refers to the color of the traditional drink. Sangria is generally made from Rioja, but any reasonably priced red wine will do. Sangria is best enjoyed chilled, it may be poured over ice but that will dilute the alcohol content as well as the flavor.
1 litre red wine
_ - _ cup organic granulated sugar
juice from orange
juice from lemon
chopped peaches
_ - _ cup brandy or cognac
Pour wine into jug or pitcher, stir in sugar to dissolve. Add fresh juice, saving the skin for garnish fruit. Chill well. Stir in chopped fruit and brandy before serving
